Android 2.0 gets Google Maps Navigation
Google's new Google Maps Navigation (Beta) for Android 2.0 provides many great enhancements to the old Google Maps application such as turn-by-turn directions and voice search.
Official Google Blog -- Google announces a big change in Google Maps for mobile: Google Maps Navigation (Beta) will be available for Android 2.0 devices. Currently, the only phone with Android 2.0 is the Motorola Droid which will be released on November 6th. Hopefully the HTC Hero will get a 2.0 update soon or Google opens Google Maps Navigation to other Android versions.
